Ecommerce Account Manager (Remote/4-Day Work Week)

The Amazon Account Manager will be responsible for managing assigned client relationships and for the overall management of client project expectations and needs. The Amazon Account Manager will coordinate all delegation of client project work and oversee the team to ensure timely and quality completion of projects. This position will develop standardized policies, processes, and procedures to create efficiency in the completion of projects to best serve clients and the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Determines client project needs and serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budget, and scope of project work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction
  • Provides professional communication with clients via email and phone and keeps clients up to date on project status and budget
  • Works with a strategist to develop project plans including determining project scope, goals, schedules, and deliverables. This may also include the development of roadmaps and dependency charts
  • Manages and oversees project plans including project scheduling, hours, budgets, and timelines
  • Delegates project tasks to team members and oversees completion of assigned tasks
  • Manages any changes in project plan or scope
  • Identifies and implements strategies to improve quality of service, productivity, and profitability
  • Navigates through Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Seller Central
  • Oversees quality assurance and ensures client projects meet client expectations and are to company quality standards

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Required:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business, or in a related and/or equivalent field, from an accredited program
  • Prior project management experience on projects with multiple, competing, and concurrent deadlines
  • High attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve with minimal direction and supervision
  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively under strict timelines within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive can-do attitude and healthy working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Ability to perform effectively as a member of a team and also as a leader
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of MS Office and the ability to type with speed and accuracy

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Google programs, Amazon platforms, and Adobe

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, product and component specifications, data sheets, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate technical (design, analysis, certification, etc.) details via verbal or written mediums. Ability to contribute to technical discussions before groups of customers and/or employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to read and interpret figures, graphs, and plots. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical, technical problems via a logical, analytical approach. Ability to simplify complicated problems using assumptions.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of electronic equipment, intermediate PC skills, knowledge of internet software, and proficiency in GSuite, Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Computer experience/operation is required.
